Josh Palmer
President, Swan Morss
Josh Palmer is President and managing partner for Swan Morss Insurance (Part of the Dunn Group). Josh is a financial advisor licensed in Life, Health and Disability and he also holds a Series 6 and 63 Securities License.
In addition to his current position for Swan Morss, Josh is also an owner of the recently formed Next Level Sports and Training LLC. This provides local student athletes a facility to continue the development of their fundamentals and basic skills in all sports as well as a facility to develop their strength, conditioning and agility through Impact Fitness9.
Prior to joining Swan Morss Insurance in 2005, Josh was a history teacher and coach in the Elmira City School District.
He is a graduate of Mansfield University with a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education.
Josh is one of the founders of the Josh Palmer Fund, a local Non-Profit Organization for Cancer patients and their families.
Josh is married with three children and they reside in Elmira, New York.

He is a current Board Member of the Elmira City School District, Express Booster Club and Chemung County Sports Hall of Fame.
Past Roles
Josh is a past Board Member of Family Services of Chemung County, Glove House, St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation and Parent Resource Center of Corning, Elmira Cal Ripken, Academy of Finance Advisory Board and the Elmira City School District Audit & Finance Committee. He is a past president for the Chemung County CYO.
Awards
He has been the recipient of the following awards: National Leukemia Society (Ernie Davis Courage Award Recipient); American Cancer Society Volunteer of the Year; New York State Governor’s Award for Leadership & Community Involvement; New York State Athletic Directors’ Community Awareness Award, Chemung County Jefferson Award and the Section IV Athletic Directors’ Community Service Award. In addition, Josh is an inducted Member of the Chemung County Athletic Hall of Fame and Elmira Southside Athletic Hall of Fame.
